How the Institute works towards the philanthropic investment markets

We provide donors with objective analysis of needs and local initiatives.

We provide objective evaluation of those projects, analyzing risk and expected returns

We work with a network of local leaders in ten (10) countries. These professionals find outstanding projects that stimulate giving-opportunities, and give help to evaluate field outcomes.

We define the expected returns on each philanthropic investment, analyze the risks, and then track the results.

We provide the information that helps donors discover how their money can accomplish more in the world's hardest places. We ensure that the information will enable them to make good choices about the stewardship of their money

We provide support systems and networks for new donors to:

  i) understand how funding can make a difference on specific issues like HIV/AIDS prevention, human trafficking, or urban poverty - and how to access local initiatives that are proving effective against the greatest needs

ii) find and validate original projects or a portfolio of projects that match donors' priorities

iii) track results of each grant, documenting that particular grant's performance.
