The
Congress is a body of Churches, leadership training
institutions, and community-based Christian programmes
in the UK and internationally. This body was officially
launched at a public gathering of Churches at
Stratford Town Hall, London E15, on 11 November
2001.
We
work to support mission leaders and community-based
programmes. We encourage them to apply appropriate
Church ministry tools (surveys, findings, action
units, professional skills, networks, theology,
and spirituality) to bring hope to communities
and nations. We also challenge them constructively
to advance their achievements.
We
encourage individuals in leadership and programmes
to discover where God has precisely placed them.
Such a discovery is a key to a fruitful service
or ministry.
We
assist newer Churches to ensure that they are
properly connected to historic Churches (wherever
appropriate or possible) - for the purposes of
advancing the historic Kingdom of God.
