Bishop Henry Kontor, Chair
of ACGB, signing a training partnership
agreement (on behalf of the Institute for
Community and Development Studies) with
Dr Geoffrey Copland, Vice Chancellor and
Rector of the University of Westminster,
27 June 1998. The Institute for Community
and Development Studies is a training centre
of The Apostolic Congress of Great Britain
The
Apostolic Congress of Great Britain comprises
of Churches, Christian field projects, and Christian
organisations who embrace apostolic leadership
in their work.
Today's
Church is facing new challenges in its mission.
Today's world is also rapidly expanding. These
call for a great deal of attention to detail
and also a quiet (but growing) apostolic strength.
It also calls for strategic deployment of resources.
From
time to time, Church leaders undertake creative
partnership with other players in society. They
also venture into new fields of engagement,
as they become necessary alongside God's grace.
These
challenges and exercises require some house order. Such
a house order relies much on an adequate house-keeping.
The
pages at this site show some aspects of the order, partnerships,
ventures, and house-keeping in the work of the Apostolic
Congress of Great Britain (ACGB).
