The
Reverend Henry Okoampa Agyemang Memorial Council
The
Rev Henry Okoampa Agyemang (1927- 2001)
The
Reverend Henry Okoampa Agyemang Memorial Council
serves as the executive arm of the current Primate
of the Apostolic Congress of Great Britain. The
services of The Reverend Agyemang in the Kingdom
of God capture the critical features in the mission
of the Apostolic Congress - education, priesthood,
leadership development, governance, and socio-political
renewal. He served primarily through the Presbyterian
Church of Ghana, which was birthed from the missionary
work from Scotland. He served as a headteacher,
catechist, national youth minister, district presbytery
chair, senior church minister, member of the synod,
and constitutional local council chair.
The
recognition of the work and services of The Reverend
Agyemang brings into the life and mission of the Apostolic
Congress of Great Britain the spirit of humility, a
diligence to service, a commitment to relevant apostolicity,
and a sense of historic connectedness to God's work
in the regions beyond. The Council shall designate matters
for local or regional governance.
