The Lordship of Jesus

I am committed to Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. I am also committed to Him as God's supreme revelation

I am committed to Jesus as the Word made flesh in history. I am committed to obey God's written, revealed, and authoritative Word.

I affirm the Lordship of Jesus Christ extends over all demonic power of evil which possess persons and pervade structures, societies, and the created order.

I affirm my hope in Jesus Christ's promise of a triumphant return, to fulfil the kingdom by total transformation of the created order.

I seek the power of the Holy Spirit to live under the Lordship of Jesus Christ in expectation of his glorious interventions and final victory.

Spiritual empowerment and service in the Kingdom of God

I affirm the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to all members of the Body of Christ.

I seek to exercise and encourage servant leadership among all the people of God.

I seek to support Churches to incarnate the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in their own situations.

Local and International concerns

I affirm God's identification with poor, powerless, alienated and oppressed people in their situation.

I seek to take a prophetic stance against dominating and dehumanising schemes which entrench cycles of poverty in my society.

Partnership-building

I seek to build partnership whereby the Spirit may be mutually given and received for enrichment and correction across boundaries and forces that divide the unity of Christ's mission.
