The Congress members see themselves primarily as a joint work-force for the Kingdom of God, working in the spirit of mutual trust, co-operation, and love.

The corporate strength of the Congress builds along as it strengthens member Churches in their capacity to bring their Church institutions and their living faith to act in the following areas:

i) The local communities' history and future - needs and responsibilities

ii) The increasing and diverse public questions in social care/integration, wider education and collective accountability

iii) The future versions of the Churches' present visions

The corporate strength of the Congress grows in good health as we engage the above with an increasing sense of mission. confidence in God, and readiness to embrace possible transforming outcomes.
