people of faith who are demanded in the new
paradigms requiring churches to provide co-ventures
in economic development.
Objective
* Be able to determine the implications for
emerging individuals around whom economic-development
opportunities exist.
* Be able to relate to a scope in the business
activity that draws on the community's environment
and potential
* Be able to apply the profound wisdom in the
communities in the economic take-off plans.
Content:
Many of the possible co-ventures require recognised
wide-ranging participation by the members of
the communities in which they happen. This is
important for Churches to note, and learn to
do. It is also important as well for development
agencies who have public role to support economic
development in communities.
This particular studies begin as a reflective-activity
(or an action research) leading to building
a framework for supporting a co-venture through
dressmaking. It may proceed further as a ministry-development
project of significant inter-action with educationists,
business leaders, and professionals. A summarised
thesis (in 6 to 8 pages) that builds a bridge
between theory and practice, within the context
of faith-based partnership or co-venturing may
be done by participants/candidates as part of
the studies.
