Courses'
Discipline |
The
courses are disciplined in the belief that
while aspects of economic and social regeneration
may be invigorated by partners, agencies,
and governments' offices, the long-term
vision must be upheld and sustained by members
of the localities or the regions.

Note:
(i) Applicants without computing or research
skills will have to undertake additional
tuition in those skills, which might attract
additional costs.

(iii)
Matured students can study all the three
short courses (or any of our three short
courses) in addition to a submission of
a 10,000 word thesis on an approved topic,
as a full year study and for an award of
an executive certificate/diploma in international
community development from the Institute.

For practising social entrepreneurs, directors
of businesses, and senior or mid-level management
staff of agencies or statutory bodies: You
can participate in three of our International
Consultations, and with an additional 10,000
word thesis on an approved topic, to receive
an award of an executive certificate/diploma
in international community development from
the Institute.

ICDS Churches |
 |
ICDS
Churches exist to support the work of the
Institute in the following ways:
- inculcating
spiritual depths into the work of the
Institute, and grow the spiritual capacity
necessary for the tasks (of the Institute)
particularly in urban areas
- establishing
the spiritual foundations which are achieved,
in the outreach work of the Institute
- applying
the celebration of particular Christian
event to highlight particular foundations
of community development
- supporting
students and faculty in their work
- running
significant annual events which provide
positive environments for the AGM and
other occasions in the life of the Institute
The
recognition as an ICDS Church is given to
congregations at the heart of community
ministry and leadership development.
The
benefits of being an ICDS Church has to
be negotiated with the leadership of the
Institute in the UK.
