Bursary
applicants are expected to demonstrate a very high level
of appreciation of the above matters in the Church ministry,
and present at least one annual report of their Church
work.
Bursary
candidates are also expected to describe in detail each
of the following aspects of their home-based ministry
(not less than 1000 words for each aspect).
a)
how far your Church context is informed/understood from
a historic act or an evident record of God's saving
grace, evidenced by a living and growing faith (in that
saving grace) and also manifest in a strong Church life.
b)
how far the ringfencing of the Church's community ministry
is set out for the purposes of constructing well meaning
friendships that make a good use of community's internal
resources, a higher reach in social care, a step into
social or urban regeneration, and a far-reaching stability
in relationship building.
c)
how the transitions within your Church's leadership
are connected to the ground level evidences of God's
calling as well as the required mid-level competencies
(for example, people with good training or skills) -
and how the transitions happen to provide new opportunities
for further growth or development of Church life/ministry.
